The episode launches to the sounds of Radiohead. Early on, the dudes discuss the process of choosing music for the podcast. They then introduce a rather interesting version of the Miley Cyrus hit We Can't Stop. Their musical journey eventually moves into the infamous Nikki Minaj Super Bass cover by Sophia Grace Brownlee (See YouTube video here: http://youtu.be/C7hTAp6KrGY).

The conversation then turns to minimum wage jobs and tipping waiters and other service workers. Somehow, they end up talking about Fiat cars. Later, the dudes try to make financial sense of buying and maintaining a recreational vehicle.

#036: Name That College (Punk Covers, The Color Run, and College Towns)

This podcast kicks off with a little truth in advertising. That is, a Cajun-flavored greasy spoon ad. The trio of dudes are back, launching with some talk of the Punk Goes series (Punk Goes Pop and such, covering hit songs). Early on, Mike proclaims his newfound love of the AMC television series Mad Men. Somehow, they get into the local job market, which includes a position known as "hole watch." The conversation eventually turns to Demi Moore. Later, they dive into The Color Run, a crazy colorful 5K that recently came to Baton Rouge. Their conclusion? Fun and run don't mix. Mike also dishes about his run-in with police. Toward the end of the show, they play a quiz game of sorts where they tie a university with its location.

After months of asking, the dudes' grandfather, Vincent "Cy" Tortorich gets his big break to appear on the podcast. They chat about their Louisiana roots, Cajun country, and history. The conversation then turns to their shared love of travel, including the Great Race. They talk about the antique car race, which spans the length of the country, and even once across North America. The travel chat continues with the Natchez Trace, which meanders through Mississippi. That leads to talk of the Texas Hill Country and historic Route 66. They eventually get back to Louisiana, chatting about Swamp People and such. Later, the talk turns to Cy's collection of cars, many of which have been used in movies and television.

Chris, who actually attended, has lots of insights on the sights and sounds from the Superdome. By the way, this episode kicks off with a few disclaimers. The wrestling chat also includes talk of the lovely ladies involved. Later, they discuss people who leave their hometowns for greener pastures. Is it commendable to chase a dream? They get into a conversation about the great Meatloaf. The dudes also look back at all the good times they had in school.

Kicking off the episode, the dudes discuss what it must be like to be a hot young chick. Apparently, your phone blows up all day. That leads to a discussion about tried-and-true methods of meeting potential dates. They also talk about the importance of paying attention to details. Briefly, the dudes then introduce a few entries from their running personal dictionary. Later, they break down the novelty song #SELFIE by the Chainsmokers.
